Experience adventure, beauty and solitude

Conejos County is one of the last authentic frontiers in Colorado. We offer vast expanses of range land, mountains and forests; more water than you could fish in a summer; and a few small towns full of friendly locals.

Pristine Un-Crowded Backcountry

Sparkling streams, soaring mountains, abundant game and expansive blue skies – that’s Conejos County, Colorado.

Things To Do

There’s something about the mountains in the Colorado San Juan Wilderness area that make you stop and take a breath. Perhaps it’s the feeling that you are so far away from the rest of the world.
